Superb Engine Detaiing
The
1968 Mustang GT/CS California Special was built in San
Jose California and was reportedly only sold in that
state. The GT/CS had a distinct rear section consisting
of a fiberglass rear deck lid and quarter panel extensions
with an integral spoiler. The unique GT/CS marking and
triple body striping with a chrome "California
Special" script secured to the rear quarter panels
gave the car a new look. The front grille lacked the
pony emblem.
